Experienced Service Technician (Industrial) Cooling Technology

As a Service Technician at De Laat, you are the expert in the field of cooling: you know everything about maintenance, installation, service of cold stores, ripening cells, freezer cells, air conditioning and everything in between. Who we are:
De Laat Koudetechniek is a cooling installation company based in Ammerzoden. We mainly design and build ripening/cooling cells for conditioning and storing fruit and vegetables for distribution centres. We have an excellent reputation in this field, particularly at European level. In addition, we also serve the air-conditioning and refrigeration/freezing market more locally (Central Netherlands).

Your duties include:
- On-site service activities including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all types of (industrial) refrigeration installations
- Commissioning, including preparation and reporting, of (industrial) refrigeration installations in cooperation with the projects department
- Control and calibration of detection installations/machine rooms
- Inspection and re-inspection of installations/machine rooms
- Preparation of maintenance reports and work reports
- Assessment and optimisation of refrigeration installations
- Running breakdown services
- Coaching of technicians
- Maintaining customer relations in a proactive and carefree manner
- Initiating improvements within the operational branch of De Laat Koudetechniek
- Enforcing and complying with guidelines in the field of working conditions, safety and quality
Your profile:
- you have a completed MBO 4 level education in cooling technology, such as refrigeration and climate systems maintenance technician;
- you are in possession of an F-gases diploma and a VCA certificate;
- you have your driving licence B;
- you have knowledge of and experience with electrical engineering and control systems in refrigeration engineering;
- you are socially strong, a go-getter, flexible and dare to take initiatives;
- you have experience in maintaining and repairing faults in cooling installations;
- diplomas or certificates relating to natural refrigerants are an advantage;
- you are prepared to travel/work internationally;
- you have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.
